Using Technology: Ch 3, Getting to Know the World Wide Web

Wow, chapter three offers a plethora of  usages via the world wide web.  The internet itself is a network of smaller networks, increasing communication capability and efficiency.   The web can be navigated with hypertext.  Web browser software is helpful in seeking out and retrieving information.  Communication tools accessed by the web include email, listservs, weblogs, text, instant messaging, and social networking.  In education these tools can increase the flow information and ideas.  The use of interned essentially shares ideas, information and increases communication world wide.
